Last night was possibly the worst of my life, following an already difficult time I found myself in my house alone with a river of water flooding through my downstairs. The water was caused by high capacity rainfall and blocked mains and caused my sunken patio to full up like a swimming pool which subsequently breached the patio doors and flooded the entire downstairs of my property.Paul, the engineer called out was not actually on call at the time but due to my distress fastfix did whatever they could and Paul was with me within a half an hour. He braved the foot and a half deep pool of water at my back door (which of course flooded in more to get him out there - I have no rear access) and in the rain he proceeded to assess the problem, attempting to unlock my rear drain however with no luck. Paul then went out to the front to investigate the problem further and deemed the mains to be blocked, I'm not sure exactly what he did but the water slowly began draining away, the water flowing from my sinks and toilets began to drain away and the flow through the house stopped leaving a now calm 2" of water through my downstairs.Paul was exceptional, calm in a crisis, very considerate and showed a great amount of compassion and understanding. Put simply he was my Knight in a dayglow hi viz and I am nothing but grateful for his help and support.Thank you Paul (I hope you've dried off)

A superb piece of work. I asked FastFix to do an awkward job, clearing a downpipe with difficult access. The engineer improvised a clever solution, and solved our problem in next to no time. From the moment I spoke with Dave and Andy I was assured the service I was getting would be excellent and I was not disappointed. Great to find a local reliable plumbing service. I wanted a cupboard sink unit put together in the downstairs WC. The job was booked within days of me enquiring and the job was done quickly but professionally within Covid safety limits.
