Leak Detection Services in the South West
If you suspect you have a leak in your property, it is important not to ignore. An unresolved leak could not only mean that the price of your water bills will rise, but over time, it could cause costly water damage or damp in your home, or cause your central heating system to break. The implications aren’t only financial, as a leak can enable harmful bacteria to grow and thrive, and most importantly negatively impact the health of you and your family.
If you’re concerned about a potential leak, call a plumber with qualified engineers that specialise in leak detection, such as us here at Fastfix. We can detect, investigate and repair leaks, often within the same day, subject to location and job size.
We can use several high-tech and non-intrusive leak detection methods to accurately identify the location and cause of the leak. For instance, we can use an endoscopic camera to see in to small space, or use thermal imaging which can identify hot or cold areas within the central heating pipes in walls or under the floor. Once we have found the leak, we can talk you through the options for repairs. The majority of the time we can find and repair the leak on the same day, but in the case of a particualrly hard to access or complex repair, we can instead arrange a follow up appointment as soon as possible.
Following the repair we will also complete a re-test of the system to ensure the leak has been fully resolved. We will also compile a full report including photographs if you’re looking for the leak detection and repair to be covered by building or home insurance.
